What's in this estimate
Every price on this page is excl. GST and freight. The range covers the label itself: material, printing and any finishes you pick. Foil, embossing and spot UV each need a one-off setup, and the estimate adds that to the total for your run. Artwork is not priced here, and we check files for free once you send them.
Bigger labels use more material. From lowest to highest cost, the stocks are Standard white paper, Kraft paper, Waterproof BOPP, Clear BOPP, Textured paper, Metallic. One or two spot colours cost slightly less than full colour, and adding white ink costs more. The range runs 15% either side of the calculated price, and a quote can differ for reasons such as artwork complexity, turnaround time and stock availability. Why small runs cost more per label
Handling and setup cost is shared across the run, so each label in a small run carries more of it. The table prices one reference label: 90 × 120 mm, waterproof BOPP, full colour, no finishes. It comes from the same formula as the estimator above.

Finishes add to the same label. Laminate is charged by area, so it costs more on bigger labels. The other finishes cost the same at any size. Setup is paid once per job, whatever the quantity.

Ways to lower your cost
- Keep the label as small as the design allows, because smaller labels use less material. The label size guide lists common bottle and jar sizes.
- Choose the stock for the job. Waterproof BOPP costs more than standard white paper, and the materials page shows what each stock suits.
- Keep the finishes you need and drop the rest. Each one adds to every label, and foil and embossing add a die. See the label embellishments we offer.

Common questions
Is this a quote?
No. It is a price range for planning, shown excl. GST and freight. A quote is a firm price for your job. Once you've used the estimator, choose "Get an exact quote" and the form below already holds your estimate.
Why is my quote different?
The estimate works from your size, quantity, material, finishes and print type. A quote also looks at artwork complexity, turnaround time and what stock we have. If your quote lands outside the range, ask us why.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order. A run of 1 label costs about the same as a run of 100, so very small runs cost more per label. The estimator prices from 1 label. Foil and embossing need a die, which adds a one-off setup cost.
